Celebrating Our ISF 2025 Summer Golf Classic Honorees

We are thrilled to celebrate Brett and Denise Messina, cherished friends of ISF and our honorees for the 2025 Summer Golf Classic.

Both Brett and Denise were born and raised in the area—Brett in Sayville and Denise in East Setauket. Their paths crossed as sales representatives at Vytra, and from that moment on, their journey together began. They tied the knot in 2000 and settled in Bayport.  Brett currently serves as a Senior Vice President at Professional group Plans, and Denise traded in her work hat to raise their three wonderful daughters: Alex, 22, Leanna, 20, and Danielle, 18. 

Brett and Denise are passionate supporters of ISF. Their involvement began when their daughters started mentoring during the ISF summer camp program. The girls continued to volunteer their summers at ISF for many years, earning recognition as exceptional mentors for our athletes with special needs. Notably, Leanna returned during the summer of her junior year in college to assist Dr. Lopez with his research teams.

The Messina’s have consistently supported ISF, dating back to our very first fundraiser at Land’s End. Brett and Denise are quiet supporters – always one of the first to drop off a check or to lend a hand, quietly working behind the scenes. We truly could not achieve our mission at ISF without their unwavering support.
